Filmed on site with the clinicians and referral teams who use E-triage every day: how GP referrals to secondary care are handled at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.

Royal Berkshire runs E-triage on Toca.health. GP referrals arrive with the notes and results attached, the right clinician sees them the same day, and Advice & Guidance is answered without a round trip back to the GP.

The figures the trust reports: a 51% reduction in referral admin workload, and 49% of Advice & Guidance requests resolved without a clinic visit. Built on Toca, the same E-triage now handles GP referrals to secondary care for 15% of England’s population.

The film was made on site with the people who use the system. It comes first over anything we could write about it.
