Celebrating Tech & Innovation in the Thames Valley: Reflections from the 2026 Awards Night

The Toca team attended the Thames Valley Tech & Innovation Awards 2026, joining some of the region’s most forward-thinking businesses, founders and innovators for a fantastic evening of networking and celebration.

Being shortlisted alongside such a talented group of local companies is a massive win for our team and a strong reminder of how fast the Thames Valley tech scene is growing.

Plus, surviving a high-energy awards ceremony in the middle of a scorching summer heatwave seems to be fast becoming our unofficial company tradition!

Beyond the chance to catch up with familiar faces and make new connections, the night was a showcase of exceptional local talent:

• A huge congratulations to Sachin Sunil for taking home the Rising Star in Tech Award. Recognising emerging talent is vital for keeping our local ecosystem competitive and creative.
• A special shoutout to Sam Haynes and Rachel Stedman from Wireless Logic, who took home the trophy in our category this time. It’s great to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with companies pushing the boundaries of technology.
• From digital healthcare to enterprise automation, the sheer variety of innovations coming out of the Thames Valley proves that world-class tech hubs don’t just exist in major capital cities.
